Congradulations! You are my FIRST domain review. I'm not quite sure about "do for a friend" sectoin. I think you are going to do things for people?? Like translation and graphics?
You have a thoughts section which is like a journal. But not really. It's more a "thoughts" page. Go figure. I wasn't interested in that area and basically skimmed after reading some.
There's a section devoted to who you are, which is a good description. However, you don't seem very nice by the end of the piece. I wonder why you want to mock people and be sarcastic all the time. It sounds (from your writing) that no one wants to be on your bad side. Now I'm wondering if you're just an angry person all around (combing the mockery, sarcasm, being a "b****" when you're angry and swearing often).
It scares me to complete this review somewhat because at review sites there is TONS of bashing going down. But then there's always comfort in knowing that the person who's talking trash actually ASKED for your opinion and therefore can't really complain about the criticism (unless, for example, racism was the basis for the despute).
Now your layout. I'm glad that you changed it before I did this review. When you first requested, you had a different URL and a different template. I really liked that one (that is if I'm remembering it right and not thinking of someone else's site). Then you changed to your current URL and had an organish layout. That was tough on the eyes, and wasn't polished looking. This design is better, and looks more like you know what you're doing. Which is a good improvement.
The navigation bar is great and well organized. Kudo points for that. I love the font, and I love the colors that you chose. They went very well together. The scrollbar doesn't seem to match as well (I hesititate to use the word "match" since it IS white and the layout IS purple .... but it just "flow"(?) well).
Under the image RIGHT inbetween the content, you have advertisements. Not the best placing of those. Putting them at the bottom wouldn't clutter the layout and devote the first impression to YOUR site rather than someone elses. However, the links aren't obnoxious like some with flashing, twirling and spinning buttons and what-not's.
Your tutorials are very helpful and I hope to try one out someday. My favorite would have to be the motion blur.
